Kixstar Poomsae & Kyorugi competition.1st – 2nd August 2026.
What a busy and rewarding weekend for Fighting Spirit Taekwondo!
Friday: We kicked off the weekend holding our local Kup grading. Great effort from everyone testing!
Saturday: I had the privilege of refereeing / judging at the 1st Kixstar Poomsae Competition at the K2 Arena, Crawley.
Sunday: Right back to the K2 Arena, coaching our student in the Kyorugi (sparring) competition, alongside Bill our 2nd Dan senior, who was officiating as a center referee for the day.
A special congratulations and massive shoutout to one of our junior 1st Dans who made his competitive debut! in advanced level sparring, Despite the lack of prior experience at this level, he put on a fantastic performance. Stepping up to that level takes serious courage, and despite the nerves, he performed brilliantly. We are extremely proud of his effort and dedication! well done. And well done team.
